"Jack of All Trades, Master of Most" is probably the best way to describe my trumpet playing. I'm your basic utility infielder trumpet player, performing in all styles and media. From my bio page, you can see that I've played in community bands, symphony orchestras, pit orchestras, traveling shows, big bands, dixieland combos, weddings, funerals, church services, and even a couple of circus gigs. I'm an accomplished sight-reader with consistent double-G range, more than adequate improvisation skills, and a platoon of various trumpets for various purposes. Fearless, consistent, and professional, I've always been one of the rare high school band directors who actually finds time to practice and "keep my chops up".
